Matthew joined Akambo in 2016 and brings over 20 years of experience in financial markets and client services.
He began his career in financial services at a stockbroking firm in 2004 and holds RG146 industry accreditation and ADA1 options training. A strong advocate for continuous learning, Matthew has built his career around delivering practical outcomes that empower advisers to succeed. As a senior leader within the Licensing team, and formerly Head of Client Services, he’s been instrumental in leading key projects and driving innovation across the business. Matthew specialises in helping advisers build scalable, efficient businesses by removing barriers to advice and leveraging Akambo’s robust infrastructure.
His goal is simple: enable advisers to serve more clients, provide deeper strategic insight, and grow sustainably, without the operational burden that often comes with it. When not at the office, Matthew enjoys sports (go Cats!), movies, the arts, and discovering new bars and restaurants in Melbourne’s vibrant hospitality and nightlife scene.
