Nick joined Akambo in 2016 and has worked across client services, paraplanning, and adviser support, gaining a genuine appreciation for what it takes to keep things moving behind the scenes. Now, as practice development manager – licensing, he draws on that experience to help advisers navigate the complexity of running and growing a business, without losing sight of what matters: great advice and outstanding client outcomes.

Nick is a problem-solver and takes pride in finding practical, people-first solutions. Whether improving processes, easing operational headaches, or offering a steady sounding board, he always tries to think a few steps ahead.

He genuinely enjoys supporting advisers to do their best work—cutting through the noise, clearing roadblocks, and helping them run things more smoothly.

Outside work, Nick usually goes outdoors hiking with his Golden Retriever, Millie, or taste-testing his latest RecipeTin Eats creation (with mixed reviews from Millie). He’s teaching himself guitar at a slow but determined pace and reckons a weekend is well spent when it includes fresh air, good food, and a new riff or two.

Nick’s qualifications include:
