Executive Chairman
Anthony Kapetanovic is the founder and Executive Chairman of the Janus group of companies, which includes Akambo Financial Group and First Financial. With over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, Anthony has built deep expertise across individual and commercial financial strategy, superannuation, corporate structuring, investment markets, and capital and derivative markets. He specialises in financial services mergers and acquisitions and currently chairs the Akambo Investment Committee.
Anthony is passionate about creating opportunity and driving long-term value for clients, teams, and the businesses he leads. His strategic mindset and hands-on experience have been instrumental in shaping the group’s evolution and growth.
As a Certified Financial Planner® with a Diploma of Financial Planning from Deakin University, Anthony also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Master of Business Law (MBL).
He is a proud member of the Financial Planning Association of Australia and is widely respected for his commercial insight, leadership, and commitment to excellence in the profession.
Outside of work, Anthony enjoys spending time with his family and close friends. He appreciates good food, great conversation, and the occasional opportunity to unwind, preferably somewhere with a view. A long-time advocate for personal development, Anthony continues to enjoy learning, whether through reading, travel, or business itself.
